Today in Nicaragua, I met the group from Parry Sound, had orientation to Nicaragua, toured the Skylark Centre and local community and reconnected with some people I haven't seen for awhile! I've also had lots of opportunities to practice Spanish!
One story:
We were at a local school playing games (the children love this connection!) and we were introducing ourselves. When I stated my name, a young girl whose name is Bethel, yelled out "Hola Samantha!" with a huge smile. So precious that she remembered me from two years ago. She is also told me with excitement that she is coming to the children's camp tomorrow.
This is a walkway at the back of the Centre. Coffee bean plants on left and a wall that was built in 2012 at the end of the walkway.
